I have a Samsung SyncMaster 940MW that I bought on sale a couple weeks ago 
for $349.99 USD after rebates at Office Depot.  It is a 19" (wide version 
1440 x 900) lcd monitor/TV with what looks to me like a SCART connector 
although they call it an EXT(RGB) connector. I know nothing about SCART so 
I'm only going by pictures of SCART connectors for comparison.  Their 
documentation is a little weak but here is what they say about it:

1-2. Connecting EXT.(RGB) - It only applies to AV DEVICE that supports 
SCART.

Connect to the DVD Devices input if the device has a EXT (RGB) jack.

You can watch DVD simply by hooking up the DVD with the monitor as long as 
the power is on.

1. Connect the EXT (RGB) port of the monitor to the DVD Player using a SCART 
jack.

2. Select Ext. using the SOURCE.
