Hi all,
With all this talk of the RGB monitor being a great picture and various
issues with other solutions, I thought I'd ask the question...
Is it possible to fix the problems that the Apple IIgs RGB monitor has,
and if so what would be involved?
I have 4 monitors all exhibiting similar issues... ie having to keep
turning the contrast and brightness down to see a decent picture before
the screen goes totally white and impossible to read.
Obviously to fix it will require someone with monitor fixing skills,
but there are plenty of monitor and TV repair technicians around. They
probably need a pointer to what the problem is and a source of spare
parts... its the parts availability that I imagine is the issue.
Or is this a non-issue and any repair shop should be able to fix them
easily?
Is there a tech reference for fixing these monitors available anyway?
Thanks,
Andrew
