Unbelievable Auctions

I am truly amazed. Recently, I saw this insanity:

I have a couple of these NIB, and unlike this example - never opened,
or removed from box. And Apple joysticks, even new ones aren't that
rare. They show up on eBay often enough - just like the NIB IIc Plus
machines do. They're out there.

Then there's this - and the reserve hasn't been met yet.

Don't get me wrong - I'm all for free enterprise, supply and demand,
etc. I don't begrudge someone making a nice profit on something.
VintageMicros is a great place to get stuff, and I've had nothing but
good experiences with them.

I'm just amazed a Vulcan is going for this much. Especially a 20MB, and
it's not even a cosmetically perfect item either. Oh well, it sits
inside the machine, right? But vintage products aside, a CFFA or
MicroDrive would make more sense.

Maybe I'm just out of touch with the new vintage computer economy.
