    Have you tried KEGS32 vR3 (based on KEGS 0.60) under Windows XP?

    You might also want to make sure you're using Wolfenstein 3D version 
1.1, there is always the possibility the older versions set off an emulation
incompatibility glitch.

    I'm able to run it just fine with KEGS32. No special tricks, I'm simply
using a hardisk image from my real IIgs that has Wolfenstein 3D installed.
It works nicely in full screen mode, you get the maximum frame rate
(far smoother than my real IIgs even at 12 to 15 MHz)
