FWIW I use KEGS 9.1 under linux. Wolf3D works w/o a hitch. That said,
there were some init conflicts that I had to work out. Remove SANE if
you have it. I understand it's no longer needed under 6.1 anyway. Using
the latest version of GUPP results in a most spectacular crash. Drop
back one release version. (Sorry, I don't remember what specific version
numbers they were.)
Oddly, the same setup on my real GS produces a sound glitch, an echo
effect of sorts best describes it. Exiting the game to the setup screen
and reentering the game seems to fix it. Unfortunately after a while
there seems to be a 50-50 chance of a screen lock up.
