Google c.s.a2 for "video 7 Commodore 1084S Tony Cianfaglione" and you
can read the post where he describes both the digital and analog //c
boxes from Video 7. Apparently the analog one was limited to 8 colours,
while the digital one had 16 colour CGA.

I verified this yesterday by emailing him since I have the digital one.
Now I too am stuck with a form of the dreaded obsolete RGB to VGA
conversion dilemma.
