Hi Alex,

Your Karateka screen shot shows very nicely what the quandary is.
I'm in the camp that would prefer solid color.. as experienced on a
composite monitor. Your results are superior but similar to what I'm
getting with the Highway RGB-> VGA converter when I boot into the GSOS
desktop (where I get the same lines but also beat / sample clock
shadows *surmised by Michael. M*).

I suppose having odd pixels turned off can be viewed as a visual
style... and some might prefer it. Would it be possible to light up
the same number of pixels in order to get the same approximate fatness
of pixels on an early monitor, thus solid color?

Btw, your FPGA Apple accomplishment is mind blowing to me, and I
wish to offer you my highest praise (for what little that is worth).
I also wish I could do stuff like that. :-)
