I used to use an SSC at 19.2k to do data transfers between my IIe and
PC years ago, before I acquired a Workstation card. Never dropped a
bit, but I did use z-modem :-)
Accelerator probably helped too. I'd be wary of trying this speed in
the monitor using just the SSC firmware drivers - they're notoriously
dodgy
Cable was around 15 feet long, standard IDC ribbon.
I've never heard of anyone breaking the 19200 barrier with a SSC. How
is this achieved?
