I get the feeling this he might be a tad dishonest.  Check this in the
original description...

" When I opened the box I couldn't believe my eyes.  I had just
purchased an unopened Apple IIc Plus from 1988."

This is followed by an update that ...

"This unit has never been opened. This make it very rare.  There has
never been an unopened Apple IIc Plus sold on ebay."

then followed by ....

"To ensure that the box remains sealed I have applied a small amount
of tape to keep the original in place. "

This gives me the impression that he did open the box to have someone
tell him later that doing so would devalue the unit.

However, $660 is an amazing price for it.
