Re: Rev. C SCSI v2 from GSE-Reactive.com

Hello Michael.

I'm not 100% sure how I fried the terminator. When our version of the Rev.
C was laid out we included the Power Termination mod built in and selectable
via the DIP. I tired the DIP and I could hear a sizzling noise from the
Power Supply, I think. After that I couldn't see the drive from the
original Rev. C card.

The idea is if the our version of the Rev. C worked then we could sell or
give away the prototypes. Maybe we'll rename the Power Termination mod to
the Terminator Termination mod. ;-) Can't see how 5v to Pin 24 of the
header would damage anything though.

I don't think it's even getting that far. It looks like there's some kind
of emulation issue with the 74LS133 IC from what I've been told. I'm not
100% sure though. In order to really find out it would be weeks of timing
checks and simulations. Can't wait to start synthesizing with the next
project. Altera all the way next time. That iseLEVER gives me a headache.
