get an echo or phasor card. they have inputs on card for the motherboard sound.. you unplug the apple II speaker, and route the wire to the sound card... both speaker and sound card audio get output by the audio out jack on the sound card... Hook your sound card to your stereo system, and use your stereo-amp remote to control the volume. Rich
