Aaaaaargh! Turns out he doesn't need to hear the computer from upstairs
after all, he just wants the speaker to be louder. I told him he should
be able to buy a small speaker/amplifier at Radio Shack. As for the
print, it was just a matter of setting the printer to near letter
quality. Kind of felt bad, charging him a $20 service call just to show
him how to set his printer, but hey, I needed the money. He said he
might call later about more ribbons for the printer and if he needed
anything else done.
