Sorting through a bunch of dumpster-dived Apple II gear that I can ID
easily, I've encountered a card that I can't. Surely somebody here can
tell me what I need to konw? I'm coming up dry with all search attempts.
(probably putting in the wrong info, I imagine, but there isn't much
more to work with)
It's silk-screend "APPLE II INTERFACE 820-5006-[]B" (where the "[]" is a
silk-screened white box that looks like it was intended to have a
letter/number hand-written on it) on the top-rear edge of the component
side. It also shows a 1983 copyright date as part of the foil on the
component side, right below a silk-screened Apple logo near the keyboard
end, where a permanently attached ribbon cable connects. The other end
of the ribbon cable terminates at a female DB-25 connector (same as an
SSC would, but it's clearly *NOT* an SSC) Also silk-screend onot the
board just above the slot-connector on the component side is the number
"656-0203-D" (with the "D" obviously stamped on in black ink after the
silk-screening was done)
It also sports a 2716 EPROM whose window is covered with a sticker
reading "341-0721-A (C) Apple 1983".
Anybody able to clue me? Would this perhaps be an interface for the old
Apple ProFile HD?
