As the other Mike said, it's a built-in drive. I managed to remove
quite a bit of software, just hope I didn't get rid of anything I
needed. As far as I can tell, the CD ROM drivers are still there. Tried
restoring At Ease, but that hasn't done any good.

One thing I remember deleting that was peculiar - it was a piece of
software called Winnebago or some such. Maybe that was the company
name? Most of what I got rid of, though were programs that either had
to do with encyclopedia CDs or educational games.
