Some of them (e.g. Dell) have baseband inputs.  I believe the Dell 20"
has S-Video and composite.  The 24" I'm sitting in front of at the
moment has composite, S-Video, and component (plus the D-sub and DVI).

     I wonder why they don't have an option to for lower sync rates. Seems like
it should be lots easier on an LCD panel.

All those intended to display TV signals do.  Monitors intended only
for computer use can save some money by not dealing with the lower
scan-rate signals at all.
