I thought about these lines as I didn't expect CiderPress to know
everything (though it comes close ;o).


Although filename suffixes were not the standard way of typing Apple
II files, many programs effectively used that convention.


I find the extension .s on many platforms and I use it because its
short. But I really cannot say if this would be a good choice to do an
auto-detect. Manual selection would be fine with me.

Merlin Pro (8-bit) always tacks a ".s" onto a source file name, so
it's an application convention, not just a programmer convention.
