On a slightly different type of 3d..... I had an idea a while back at Kfest one year after Mike Westerfield of Byteworks put on a Logo 3D presentation. With it, you could create wireframe 3D objects viewable with standard 3D glasses. What I always thought would be pretty nifty was a Wizardy maze scenario in 3D along the same lines.
