Re: Best Way To Transfer Files From a PC to the IIgs

CiderPress on the PC with let you manipulate disk images and shk files.

Go and grab a copy of http_fs @ http://www.rejetto.com/sw/. This
software will let you host files for access from Contiki's web
browser/wget applications. I usually just point the Contiki web browser
to my pc's IP address, tab to the file or disk image I wan't to
download and then follow the prompt to invoke wget. As long as the file
is a 140K DSK type disk image it will let you write that image from the
internet or via http_fs directly to a DISK II device. It is kind of
like (one way) ADT for ethernet as it only works with 140K disk images.

You can also download individual files (recommend you use SHK format)
which can contain SDK files or other types of disk images. You can then
use Mark Percivals DM8 http://www.syndicomm.com/~mark/DM8/ program (or
other software) to reconsitute them into disk images.
