Presumably they were referring to the media it shipped on: 800K
3.5 floppy disk. The Apple IIc Plus and Apple IIGS were the only
members of the Apple II line where a 3.5 drive was standard.

There was never a GS-specific version of this game released (or
to the best of my knowledge, unreleased). As for the IIc Plus, there
was no such thing as a "IIc Plus" specific piece of software, seeing
as feature-wise it is identical to the IIc (albeit with a Zip Chip installed
out of the box). In fact I'm pretty sure I have Dark Heart on 5.25
format in my collection of disks that runs just fine on the IIe/IIc.

Incidentally, the IIGS and IIc Plus operate differently speed-wise.
Due to the IIc Plus's caching method of acceleration and its "hit"
or "miss" scheme, some 8-bit games actually run _faster_ on the
2.6 MHz IIGS than the 4 MHz IIc Plus. So scratch any speed
requirement theory.
