I'd like to have the IIc's
internal speaker connect to it as well, but then you'd have
another wire running from the side of the IIc back to the
Mockingboard box. Do you think that would work ok?

Isn't there audio at the video plug like on a IIgs? Would it be feasable to tap that?

Possibly, except for the noise it would get from
the 12v line that is also there, not to mention
those who are using Video-7 adapters on that port.

The speaker output is a high-level signal, so the presence
of power on the conector should not be an issue.

A pass-through connector for the tap would be a solution
for those using the connector at present (though I would
expect that they are a small fraction of //c users, and
would perhaps be willing to forgo //c sound through external
speakers).
