Some browsers can't assimilate suffixes it doesn't know, so
they simply refuse to download, or corrupt the file during
the transfer, or simply tell you that it already is corrupt.

Also, OS's sometimes have problems with files which were
downloaded under one version of an OS and copied to another.
I am finding that some of the archives I got when I ran
Windoze98se, don't work correctly with WinXP. Also, I've
downloaded stuff with XP, and copied them through the network
to my GFs machine and she could not use them, and things she
passes to me also don't fly. She cannot read any CD I write
here, as well, however, if we use the file server, then
everything is fine. Just copied from one of the machines
to the other through the LAN.

I am beginning to see why some folks
refer to Windoze as "Broken".  :o)
