Generally magic marker can be removed quite readily using isopropyl
alcohol, which is usually harmless to plastics. Acetone works as well,
but can attack some plastics very aggressively. I would go to the
drugstore and get the 90% rubbing alcohol.
The effect this has on a IIgs case is not something I can predict; are
you asking for collector-type preservationist reasons, or just
aesthetics?
