And if I remember properly, the same keyswitches are used on the Mac Plus
keyboard (and presumably the original Mac keyboard that has no numeric
keypad on it).  I once had a problem with my Mac Plus keyboard after spilling
something on it, and the I got a spare keyswitch off a scrap Apple III
keyboard.  It then turned out to be a bug in that program, causing extra
characters to be entered if you pressed that key on the numeric pad.

I can't recall, but suspect the keytops were not the same, though.
