Yes, you did. I continue to use the 8-bit Merlin 8 ProDOS version (which will run from a single 5.25" drive, if necessary). Unfortunately, the only available documentation files that I have seen are 1) a text version for an older DOS-based version, or 2) the scanned Merlin 8/16 manual in PDF format, which is almost 13MB. (And a bit confusing for a new user using just Merlin 8. I understand the author's motivation for combining the documentation for the two assembler/editors, but it is certainly not in the best interest of the user.) I was wrong to state that the documentation for Merlin 8 Pro is readily available, since it is huge. If it is on the web, I'd be happy to see a link. If there is a text version, so much the better.
