The first laser printer I bought, I think it was ten dollars, the jamming
problem went away when I cleared out some "Scotch tape" that was stuck
inside it.  I couldn't help but wonder if that was why it had landed
at that school rummage sale, someone though it was a more serious problem
than it was.

On the other hand, it was slow, and a few months later I got for $25
what at the time seemed a better printer.  When that one ran out of toner,
I finally moved to a well known brand, an HP 4P, for fifteen dollars,
and just last week I bought my second toner cartridge for it.
