Several years ago I picked up aproximately 360 black ImageWriter
ribbons at a Radio Shack warehouse sale.  I only wanted to pick some
up for myself but when the guy saw me looking at them and found out I
had a use for them, he ended up pulling a bunch of boxes out and he
made me a deal.

I initially sold them for $1 each (I can't remember now if that was US
or CDN but probably CDN) and made my money back fairly quickly.  Once
the selling slowed down I still had a lot left so I reduced the price
to $0.50 each.  I managed to sell most of them but I'm pretty sure I
still have one box with over 50 ribbons still in it in my storage
room.

I figured that would keep my ImageWriter II going for a long time but
now I have a LaserWriter IIf sitting beside my IIgs that is giving me
paper jam errors (although I did get it to print a few test pages when
I first got it home) and if I ever getting it working properly my
ImageWriter II might not see much use anymore.  :-)
