I sold 100s of Laser 128s in the late 80s mostly to schools and by
demonstrations in homes. It was very well built and there were very few
problems. The EX was faster, about 3 times faster than the Apple IIe. The
EX2 was even faster, but I cannot remember how fast. The 128 had a parallel
port and inputs for RGB and composite monitors. You could plug in a 1
million byte memory board. I remember the Apple fans telling me that the
parallel printer was obsolete! I think Apple built the IIc + in response to
the EX.
