I was a bit surprised that _no one_ has corresponded with me about getting their own NadaNet running. ;-( Are they just completely self-sufficient, and happily networking away in silence? Or is everyone (?) waiting for the IIgs native-speed-compatible version? Is the set of programmers with more than one running Apple II tiny? Or is no one interested enough to give it a try?
I expect the minimum number of systems to illusrate Nadanet's functionality would be 4? master, scheduler and at least two nodes?
I conversed with you about starting a IIgs version as I already have a gaggle of IIgs's and only 3 IIe's of which 1 is platinum.
I thought that constructing the two-transistor interface might be a barrier, so I added an illustrated construction article to my web site--but still no takers. ;-(
The article was excellent. My personal barrier isn't construction but time allocation (too many projects and not enough time :o( )..
I decided to take someone's advice and finish some projects I started a while ago ... I'm still hopeful that I can replicate your project at some point as I have found NadaNet and the AppleCrate to be a very cool project.
Were out here .... thanks for sharing your project with us .. I think it's certainly great inspiration to carry on in the Apple II world even if the community at large can't take it any farther then that. :o)
