Thanks Bill. I will investigate that. But to admit ignorance, so far
as I know GBBS Pro handles all the modem hand-shaking stuff internally
based on the hard-coded list of specific modems you select in it's
configuration utility. I will see if I can sent ATZ via basic or
something and hope it doesn't get reset when GBBS Pro goes on-line.

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. (If you hadn't sold me that
3.5" unidisk drive to get me off the ground, I probably would have
chucked the whole idea by this time. :-)
