If you're looking at sectors in a "cooked" disk image (*.dsk, *.po, *.do,
etc) they will always be the logical sectors. The ".do" and ".po" file
name extensions tell you whether DOS or ProDOS sector ordering was used
when the file was created.

If you're looking at sectors in a "raw" disk image (*.nib, *.nb2, *.app)
they will USUALLY be the logical sectors. The program can translate them
in any fashion it chooses. For example, if you enable the "confirm disk
image format" option in CiderPress, you can override the Disk Sector
Viewer's sector order translation to use DOS, ProDOS/Pascal, CP/M,
or untranslated.

If you're using a sector editor inside an emulator, the translation
depends on the editor. Bag of Tricks uses DOS ordering, Copy ][+ 9.0
uses ProDOS ordering. (I don't remember if these are selectable.)
