Re: Cannot write to 5.25" disks from 6.0.1 Finder

Bill,

OK, this makes sense to a point. But I cannot format ANY 5.25"
floppies and I cannot create a ProDOS disk image (.sdk) using GSHK.

In particular I am trying to extract Modem MGR Prodos version disk
images so I can install and use it with my null modem cable (I am tired
of using Agate).

GSHK sees the disk image but won't write. Says the disk is write
protected. I remember way back in the day being able to write to
ProDOS disks using GS/OS.

Clearly I am doing something wrong.

As an alternate route to get from my PC to GS: I have an AEHD high
density 3.5" drive. I also have the MSDOS.FST file installed.
However, I cannot read MS-DOS disks with it. Any chance of making this
happen?

THANKS A TON for such quick replies from everyone!!!

Sincerely,

Joe
