I push a button and it slows down

Hello,

I recently got a buggie power supply from Stephen Buggie.. it seems to have stopped my annoying fatal System Error 0911 errors..

But now I've run into another problem.

I received a disk with a game called Bouncin'Inferno by FTA. I boot up to my hard drive and run the game off floppy. When I load it does its little intro and I click the mouse and start.... and the game seems to play ok with mouse.... but if at any time during the intro screen or game play should I click a button on the keyboard, speed drops down to something soooo unnbelllleviablly slowwwwwww.

My configuration:

Slot 1: printer port
Slot 2: Lance GS ethernet card
Slot 3: TWGS at unknown speed and a 32k Cashe
slot 4: default
slot 5: Smart port has a 3.5 drive connected to it for games that aren't compaible with the superdrive card... I usually have it set for superdrive card.. I've tried it both ways with the game and it doens't seem to fix anything.
slot 6: 5.25" drives
slot 7: Apple High Speed SCSI -> 350MB drive, SCSI CD ROM drive, and a terminator.

Any idea what could be going on?
