In Bernie, check Setup/Preferences.../CPU Core. If speed control is on
then Bernie will slow down to the selected speed. Bernie probably
defaults to the standard IIgs speed of 2.8MHz. If so then that's why
your emulated IIgs feels a little sluggish, it means it's acting just
like a real unaccelerated IIgs! You can set the speed control to a
higher speed or turn it off altogether. You can also toggle it on and
off by selecting Setup/Speed Nanny, or pressing shift-command-Y.
