I was thinking thus: 
1) From MacHTTP launch applescript that (re)boots IIe card
2) IIe card boots from Prodos partition which MacOS can access
3) Startup program is Applesoft CGI
4) CGI outputs to (html) textfile on prodos partition
5) MacHTTP can then read said textfile as html

...something like that

Of course this might be worth messing with if I was keeping my server on
dial-up, but as Wayne pointed out, the ethernet card is going to be the
fly in the ointment... still, it's an almost intriguing idea...
