Probably, but I cannot say for sure.   I would guess that it would be easier
to draw all of your power from a single source and make that source a choice
between 3 options (PSU, battery, wall plug) rather than draw your power from
two sources with one of them switchable.  But I don't know much about
designing hardware, so I may be wrong.
