Here's a weird SHK problem, plus, cold booting RamFAST issue...

I was trying to unpack the spyhunter.bsq. Used GSCII+ to convert it, then
unpacked. It claimed to have finished, but it didn't write an EOF; calmly
sat there apparently filling the HD.

Went back to GS/OS, my HD was 5-8Mb down (tried it on both the ProDOS and
HFS volumes), couldn't recover it by deleting anything obvious. Claimed to
have 27Mb on disk.

Dragged all files (including hidden ones) to make a backup, the backup was
only 19Mb, as I thought my drive had been. Initialized the ProDOS partition
and dragged everything back - 19Mb, everything is working.

Where did the data go to? Not a file, clearly... But something.

Also - when the IIgs has been off overnight, I start it like this: Monitor,
HD unit, wait for HD to make 'I'm happy' noise, start GS. It freezes on the
startup screen. Three fingered salute results in offset characters (40
columns) and locked up. Off, on, and the next step is RamFAST complaining of
a Fatal Memory Error=0C.

Again, off and on, and the next step is RamFAST looking for SCSI devices.
Then it works, and is alright until switched off for the night.

Strange. Whilst thinking about memory, where would I find the 1Mb x 4 DIP
DRAMs needed to upgrade to 1Mb cache on the RamFAST?
