Re: Here's a weird SHK problem, plus, cold booting RamFAST issue...
My only thought and I have no idea how valid it is, is that maybe the
unshrinking program or whatever was filling up the hard disk by allocating
blocks by marking them as used in the bitmap block. In that case, no file
would actually appear to use those blocks but they wouldn't be free either.
On MS-DOS filesystems, this is called lost clusters. They are clusters
which are marked used in the FAT but aren't actually used by a file. Thus,
backing up, reformatting and restoring would solve the problem, as a
reformat would restore all the blocks/clusters to free status.
