Have you tried it without the RAM card?

Richard, dealing with other GS wierdness. Cold boot, the RamFAST locksup the machine. Reboot and it freezes. Power off, on again, FATAL ERROR(Memory, IIRC - $0C). Reboot again and it works. Just tried swapping thereally short cable for a normal one and removing the HD20SC but it makesno real difference - once it's been booted a couple of times it works fine.
