I just had the misfortune to re-aquire an Amiga 1200 system.
Good god, these machines are crap. Built like crap, run like crap,
unreliable, awkward to do simple things on like installing a new HD, and the
internet is full of emulator rubbish with very little of use for hardware
people.
I often consider the Amiga to be a Mac rival. I sometimes say that it could,
with proper development, have been an SGI rival.
But no. It should have been strangled at birth, especially in 600 and 1200
form. It's not even worthy of comparison to the IIgs.
