Re: Convert Appleworks 3.0 Files to MS-DOS

Hi,
On the GS, try to get hold of a command shell called Davex. This is a
Prodos8 application. I think Asimov has disk images of it. Davex has a
built-in 'type' command which will print at least certain types of
Appleworks files to the screen. It also has a 'como' command which can
redirect the output of another command to a file or printer. So by
combining those two commands you should be able to get a text dump of your
Appleworks documents. You could even make a text file with the proper
commands, then exec that file, to do it automatically. Once that's done, it
should just be a matter of transferring the newly made text files to the Mac
then to the PC.
Hope this helps.
Jayson.
