Convert Appleworks 3.0 Files to MS-DOS

I have a IIGS with about 150 word processor files that I want to
convert to Text, or even better some version of MS Works or MS Word.
I have a Mac SE that will act as the intermediate computer, copying
files off the IIGS formatted disks and dropping them on the PC
formatted disks.

I am aware that you can print a file to ASCII from Appleworks;
however, this is very very tedious considering the number of files I
need to convert. I'm hoping that some program out there can do a
batch convert or something.

I am somewhat skilled with VBScript, so if the files end up as text
with odd control characters or bad formatting, I can take care of it
on the PC.

The end result is that I would like these Appleworks word processor
files on the PC and viewable with a text reader like Notepad or
Wordpad. But, if there's something that will translate directly to a
Microsoft program, all the better.

The Mac SE I have is not connected to the Internet nor do I think it
could be, but as I have PC Exchange on it I can grab whatever I need
with my PC and move it to the Mac.

I know this has been posted before, but I didn't find any recent
messages. Everyone mentions Crossworks, which seems to be unavailable
now. I.E. I can't find a place to buy a copy anywhere.

Thanks so much,

Matt
