I feel compelled to add that reguardless of copyright, most books
wouldn't be available online for a couple of reasons. If the text
files aren't available then a scanned book can create a pretty huge
file. Even one can be too big for most peoples website. Just scanning
a 300 or 400 page book in is a lot of work. Turning it into text even
more work. I think most programmers would rather spend the time
programming
