RAMFACTOR... a RAMWORKS card would look funny in a standard slot, and might
even smoke a little.

Not that I haven't seen people try doing that back in the day.

Funny but pathetic service story #1

Fried GS motherboard... user upgraded from a //e to a GS, neglected to tell
us he had an large investment in memory cards, peripherals (no cards in case
when he brought unit it - we weren't original distributor either). We asked
him what he had and he said not to worry, "knew what he was doing, yada
yada..." He came back 2 hours later with his upgraded //e case with an
original RamWorks board in the GS memory slot... "I thought that's where it
went...." Amazingly, the AE card survived - at least initially.

Funny but pathetic service story #2

The mouse doesn't work... user complained the mouse didn't work and we asked
if they were plugging it carefully into the keyboard. User said "Huh? No, in
the back..." later, user came in to buy replacement mouse - she had broke
and bent the pins from trying to cram it into one of the serial ports.
