IIc+ LCD question

I'm going to be getting a small LCD for my IIc+. It's 12v, 7.5 watts...
question is, can I power it from the computer's built-in PSU or would I
be better off with a seperate PSU for the monitor? It would be nice to
minimize the number of cables, but I'd obviously prefer not to blow the
IIc+'s PSU.
Also, if anyone has a dead //c 9" monitor, I'd be willing to pay a
fantastic sum * ;-) * for the front portion (bezel?) of the case.
