Replacing the 6502 with a 65c02 can be done but it does not speed up
the computer. The only way I know of speeding up a Apple II IIe II+ is
to usr a Zip chip, Rocket Chip, Transwarp card, or a MCT SpeedDeamon
card. I dont think the 65c816 executes 6502 commands any faster, plus
if yiou just make an adapter to plug into the socket it will still run
at 1 mhz. The apple accelerators were basicly a apple on a card.
