Hi folx,
I've fired up my IIgs with its SCSI HD, and that works OK, if a little
slowly. I have a spare external Apple CD drive which I'm planning on
connecting up to it.
Now, I know I can use HFS CDs with the HFS FST, but I was wondering
about ProDOS CDs - it seems appropriate to try and use native formats,
and I'd like to play around with it.
I've read the excellent article at
<http://www.mactech.com/articles/develop/issue_03/Mixed-Partition.html>,
and I think I can handle all that, but I want to burn the CD myself, so
instead of Step 5 being:
"5. Mail your hard disk drive to the CD production
company of your choice, asking them to place an
image of the hard disk on the data track of the CD.
I want it to be:
"5. Place an image of the hard disk on the data track
of a CD using [programs|methods] X, Y or Z."
I have a PowerBook G4 running OS X 10.3.5 with a SuperDrive, I have an
eMac 800MHz that can do 10.3.5 or 9.2.2 with a Combo drive, and I have
an LC575 running 7.6.1 which I can probably rustle up an external CD-R
drive with Toast for.
Any pointers on methods to use the above, or programs I can download
which will do the job for me?
