Here's an annoying one - moreso because I really don't like constantly
dismantling my Colour Classic...
I've got a nice CC Mystic - that's a Colour Classic with an LC575 board, so
for conflict purposes, it's an LC575. I decided to ditch the Asante MacCon
LC ethernet card for Apple's CommSlot Ethernet - just fits - and use the now
empty PDS slot for an Apple (sorry. Insert sound of me screaming as
Microshaft Entourage continually turns my IIe into Iie with no discernable
way of disabling this infuriating bit of 'helpful' software) - anyway... For
an (there it goes again, capitalising my F for me)... Apple IIe card.
Except, when I put the card in, the ethernet card appears to have an error.
In true MacOS pre X style, this error isn't disclosed or explained, but It
Doesn't Work. Bah.
Any known conflict between the CS Ethernet and Apple //e (hah, take that,
MS) card?
