Have no clue about the ethernet card problem, BUT,
the other problems, maybe. I had this problem with
MS WORD, but I figured out that with auto-format
disabled the problem disappeared. Possibly you can
go into Options/Preferences and turn off this little
feature. Never used Entourage, but most MS programs
work similarly. Give that a try and let me know.
