I've read up on the FAQ's but nothing explicitly suggests how you would
network the machines together. Does anyone know how this is achieved in
any sense (eg: via a permanent serial link).

Still dodgy, but I'll try again with more ideas, thanks for your help.

Hmm, I found one DOS disc in the USA ebay site, but no international
deliveries available, the UK ebay offers very limited resources in the way
of Apple ][ stuff, I guess it just wasn't as big a hit over in Europe.

Thank you very much for your kind welcome, it's great to have such a
friendly introduction to a group, it gives an almost warm-fuzzy feeling of
community to all of it (brings back memories of my old BBS days!- sob!)
