Yes it does, you can add a 3.5" drive (slot 7) or a second 5 1/4" drive to the floppy connector or I boot mine now from a CFFA card in the external slot (slot 7). I used to boot it from a Sider in the expansion chassis with a ram drive in slot 5. I now have an internal ram drive seen as slot 5. You could put a disk ][ card in the external slot and it will boot form that.
